Clothing Donations
We accept INDIVIDUAL clothing donations EVERY OTHER Monday (exact dates listed below) from 10am-2pm ONLY at our Sandy Springs office (6255 Barfield Rd. Suite 155). Individual clothing donations are clothing donations of 10 items or less.
Each donation will be examined by our volunteers or staff and any items that cannot be used by our clients WILL BE RETURNED TO YOU.
All clothing drives must be pre-approved by our office. Please contact us before beginning to collect any items.

Clothing Accepted
Gently worn or new, unaltered, clean, ready to wear, professional/work clothing (3-4 years old or newer)
When assessing whether your donation fits our clothing donation criteria, a good question to ask yourself is, “But for the current change in my circumstances (ie. your size has changed, your work environment or industry has changed, you have retired within the last 2 years, etc), would I still confidently wear this?”
Closed toed flat or low-heeled professional shoes in neutral colors (black, brown, navy, taupe, nude)
Button front cardigans
Professional shells/blouses
Professional skirts, pants, and jackets (within 4 years old)
Dresses: business-appropriate (no formal or evening wear, please)
Jewelry
Shapewear: New with tags
Handbags (large enough to fit a portfolio)
Letter size legal pads for portfolios used for resumes
Grocery Store Gift Cards-like Kroger, Publix, Walmart
Gift Cards to be used for gas and other necessities

Q3: 7/1, 7/15, 7/29, 8/12, 8/26, 9/9, 9/23
Q4: 10/7, 10/21, 11/4, 11/18, 12/2, 12/16
We will NOT accept any of the following items:
Clothing with animal dander or fur
Estate items
Out of season items
Pilled, stained, or moth damaged items
Items that are dirty, ripped, altered, or without size tags

Our office is located near the top of the perimeter on Barfield Rd. between Mt. Vernon Hwy & Hammond Drive. Our suite is on the front side of the building facing Barfield Rd. In lieu of an office or companywide clothing drive, please consider making a donation of gift cards in denominations of $10, $20, $25 to Walmart, Kroger, Publix, QT, RaceTrac or Target to assist clients in getting necessities.

Our clients’ needs are dynamic, so please be aware that the list below does change as client needs change.
In order to ensure that we are able to provide interview and employment attire for every client that comes through our doors, it is imperative that our inventory be size inclusive and quality assured.
Immediate clothing needs:
Plus/Extended size clothing items
Items in women’s sizes 00, 0, and 12-32
Pants in regular, short/petite, and tall lengths.
Jackets/Blazers- sizes 00 & 0, 14-32
Pantsuits- sizes 00-2, 12-32
Closed toed flat or low-heeled professional shoes in neutral colors in WOMEN’S sizes 8 1/2-12, and wide and narrow widths.
New in package cotton underwear sizes XS-XXL, socks (women’s shoe sizes 6-12), and knee highs.
Immediate non-clothing needs:
New in package hairbrushes and combs
Hand and body lotion

Dress for Success is part of a global movement for change, empowering women to build sustainable self-directed futures. Besides physically providing our clients with professional attire, Dress for Success Atlanta, offers programs, workshops, and a safe, supportive community that fosters confidence and encourages growth. We strive to provide our clients with tools they can have without holding and cannot lose to changing circumstances.
